For a burger with a difference, try this chicken mince burger recipe with sun-dried tomatoes. A slice of Beech Wood smoked Cheddar adds the perfect finishing touch, whether it’s melted on the barbecue or under the grill – and don’t forget to add a generous spoonful of Fig & Apple Chutney.

METHOD

  1. Take some minced chicken, add the onion, tomatoes, breadcrumbs and seasoning. Mix together and form into burgers.
  2. Grill for approximately 7-10 minutes each side until piping hot and cooked through.
  3. Slice the Beechwood Cheddar to create round slices.
  4. Once cooked, top each burger with a slice of Snowdonia Beechwood Smoked Cheddar and melt under a grill or on the barbeque.
  5. Top with fig chutney and serve on a burger bun with lettuce and mayonnaise.
